With leftover mirror pieces left by a friend moving out of the studio, I wanted to see how the light reflections of these geometric compositions would be captured on cyanotype.

The shapes were attached to mounting board with candle wax. Knowing that this medium of sticking them to the flat surface below would leave slight variations to their angles, I had anticipated that when the sun would strike these print-making tools, the light would be much less orderly that their original 2D appearance.

These small works are the beginnings of exploring transferring light through to spaces in shadows and using mirrors as medium.
